Shares of Tata Investment Corporation Ltd zoomed 20 per cent in today’s session to touch a new lifetime high at Rs 2624.10 and were locked in the upper circuit at that level. The stock has been witnessing strong momentum reaching new highs in consecutive sessions. With today’s rally, the weekly share price return for the stock stands at 46.9 per cent while yearly returns to 104.9 per cent. An NBFC, the company invests in a diversified portfolio of quoted and unquoted securities of companies, including Tata companies, which are engaged in various businesses with a history of strong operating and financial performance.
Another investment company that gained 20 per cent in today’s session was JSW Holdings Ltd. At the 20 per cent upper circuit price band hit, the stock closed at Rs 4525.95 being locked at that level. JSW Holdings is the investment arm of the USD 11 billion JSW Group. The stock has a 52-week high and low of Rs 5499.90 and Rs 2806, respectively.
