BSE 500: Metal and power sectors are back in action!

Know which metal and energy stocks are rallying on July 5 mid-day trades!

 Investors in these metal and power stocks have a reason to rejoice as they break their losing streak at the bourses. The benchmark indices- Sensex is up by 0.8 per cent or 431 points at 53665.55 and Nifty50  trading at 15973.50 with a gain of 138 points or 0.9 per cent. 

   MMTC and PTC India are among the Top Gainers in BSE “A” Group in the mid-day session.  

Shares of MMTC are rising in the mid-day trades as the company announced in a press release that it has transferred its share of 49.78 per cent of the issued and paid-up equity share capital of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) to Tata Steel Long Products Ltd (TSLP). At noon, the shares of MMTC were quoting at Rs 41.45 up 5.87 per cent or Rs 2.30 and had touched intraday high and low of Rs 43 and Rs 40.70, respectively . At intraday high the shares of MMTC soared ~9.8 per cent from the previous close.

PTC India Ltd has surged 6.65 per cent and is currently quoting at Rs 82.65 It has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 84 and Rs 78.85, respectively. The shares of PTC India were under selling pressure for some time logging a 52-week low on June 23 at Rs 70.25. At lower levels, the stock is witnessing a trend reversal as it gained 2.5 per cent in yesterday’s session. At intraday high the shares of PTC India soared ~8.4 per cent from the previous close.
