Brewing this morning! Rakesh Jhunjhunwala made Rs 850 crore in 10 minutes on this stock today!

The shares of Titan hit a record high of Rs 2,347 on BSE, up 9.32 per cent today morning.

Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s biggest stock bet Titan company added Rs 17,770 crore to its market capitalization within just 10 minutes into today’s trading session, This took Jhunjhunwala’s stake in the company by over Rs 850 crore. 

Jhunjhunwala and his better half Rekha together own a stake of 4.81 per cent in this Tata group company. The shares of Titan hit a record high of Rs 2,347 on BSE, up 9.32 per cent today morning. That made the market capitalization of the jewellery maker jump by more than Rs 17,700 crore within few minutes of trading which in turn boosted Jhunjhunwala’s value of stake by Rs 854 crore. 

The jewellery makers’ September quarter business update showed most segments were back on track to the pre-covid levels, raising hopes for a strong festive season going ahead. 

On Thursday, at 11:22 am, the shares of Titan were trading 9.16 per cent higher at Rs 2343.35 on BSE.
