Bhageria Industries receives clearance for sulphuric acid plant

The company informed the bourses that it has received approval from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board to manufacture Sulphuric Acid and Derivatives at its plant in Tarapur, Maharashtra on Tuesday.

The plant is located in MIDC Tarapur in Palghar district. The company has received consent for the manufacture of Sulphuric Acid and Derivatives to the tune of 150.0 Ton/D and by-products 25 per cent Oleum, 10.0 Ton/D; 65 per cent Oleum, 30.0 Ton/D and CSA, 30.0 Ton/D.

The said capacity addition would provide backward integration for the company and will be funded through internal accruals with an investment of approximately Rs. 27 crore.

At 14:48 hours, the stock of Bhageria Industries Limited was at Rs. 303.00 per share, 0.60 per cent on Tuesday.
