At 3:15 pm, the shares of Bajaj Finance surged over 4 per cent, ranking it Sensex's top gainer after the company reported its first-quarter performance of FY23.
Customer franchise as of June 30, 2022, stood at 60.3 MM as compared to 50.5 MM on June 30, 2021. In Q1FY23, the company experienced its highest-ever quarterly rise in customer franchise of 2.7 MM. Core assets under management (AUM) increased by 31 per cent YoY to roughly Rs 2,04,000 crore as of June 30, 2022, from Rs 1,56,115 crore during the same period last year. Core AUM increased by about Rs 11,900 crore in Q1FY23.
In comparison to 4.6 MM in Q1FY22, 7.4 MM of new loans were booked in Q1FY23. The deposit book stood at approximately Rs 34,100 crore as of June 30, 2022, as compared to Rs 27,972 crore as of June 30, 2021, a YoY growth of 22 per cent.
