Bajaj Corp hits 52-week high post Q3 results
Bajaj Corp soared to a fresh 52-week high of Rs. 525 on Thursday after the company reported 11 per cent increase in revenue in the December quarter.
The revenue of the company rose 11.3 per cent to Rs. 208.1 crore in Q3FY18 as against Rs. 187 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA margin for the quarter was at 32.6 per cent. However, the company's net profit declined 4.5 per cent to Rs. 55.2 crore as against Rs. 57.8 crore in Q3FY17. Also, the company has recommended an interim dividend of Rs. 12 per share.
Bajaj Corp is a leading player in the hair oil category with brands like Bajaj Almond Drops Hair oil, Bajaj Brahmi Amla Hair Oil, Bajaj Amla Hair oil and Bajaj Jasmine Hair oil.
On Thursday, Bajaj Corp closed at Rs. 508.95 per share, up Rs. 12.75 or 2.57 per cent on NSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 504.60 and touched a 52-week high of Rs. 525 per share on NSE. The scrip attracted a traded volume of 13,31,299 shares on NSE.
