Aurionpro subsidiary forays into US market on Monterey-Salinas Transit strategic deal
On Wednesday, Aurionpro Solutions announced that its subsidiary, SC Soft will be amongst the key partners of Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) as it becomes the first transit agency in California to offer a contactless payment system.
Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) is a bus service operating in Monterey County (California). MST has introduced a tap-to-pay option on its entire bus fleet, which will be the first contactless payment demonstration of California Integrated Travel Project (Cal-ITP), an initiative to make travel simpler and more cost-effective in the region.
SC Soft, with its state-of-the-art AFC systems, supports all fare media as well as payment methods including closed-loop systems (smart cards), open-loop systems and payments (contactless EMV) along with mobile apps for payments, top-ups & ticketing. The successful implementation of the open-loop ticketing system at MST marks the foray of the company into the USA market and will establish it as a key player along with its partners in the growing market for smart AFC Solutions.
At 1.32 pm on Wednesday, the shares of Aurionpro Solutions Limited were trading at Rs 163.80, up by 1.52 per cent or Rs 2.45 per share, against a 0.68 per cent decline in the benchmark index. The 52-week high of the company is recorded at Rs 195.00 while its 52-week low is Rs 37.60 on BSE.
