As market trades marginally higher, these stocks gain in todays mid-day session!

Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd and Varroc Engineering Ltd are today’s mid-day movers.

At 12:43 pm the S&P BSE Sensex is at 57,267.28 witnessing a 0.15 per cent gain. As the market is showcasing some positivity today these companies have surged. 

Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Ltd, which is engaged in the manufacturing of stainless steel pipes and tubes and carbon steel pipes have received domestic orders of Rs 308 crore and export orders of Rs 30 crore which have to be executed in FY2022-23. Today, at 12:43 pm the stock has jumped 3.15 per cent and the scrip is currently trading at Rs 2466.45.  

Reliance Industries, India’s largest private sector company, is weighing a possible bid for Wallgreens Boots Alliance Inc’s international drug store unit. Boots could be valued at as much as 7 billion pounds in a sale. Its new energy biz is also making the stock attractive. At 12:43 pm the stock jumped 3.59 per cent and the scrip is currently trading at Rs 2635.60. 

Varroc Engineering Ltd, which focused on designing, manufacturing and supplying exterior lighting systems, plastic and polymer components, and electrical and electronics components, might sell its lighting business for about USD 600-650 million to a European component maker to become debt-free. At 12:43 pm the stock jumped 5.13 per cent and the scrip is currently trading at Rs 429.30
