A solid positive breakout is seen in these stocks; do you hold them?

The Sensex witnessed a significant setback, interrupting its record-setting trajectory as it plummeted by 931 points, with the Nifty also experiencing a sharp decline to 21,150.

Indian stock markets crashed on Wednesday, with benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty closed by dipping 1.30 per cent and 1.41 per cent respectively. The broader indices like the Small-Cap index extended losses by 3.42 per cent whereas Mid-Cap saw a dip of 3.12 per cent. The overall market sentiment was bearish, with declining stocks almost outburning advancing ones in big number.

Capital Trust Ltd's stock showed strong performance, opening at Rs 99.4 and reaching a high of Rs 117.65, with a low of Rs 97.2. The closing price, at Rs 114.8, reflected a notable gain of 17.08 per cent from the previous close of Rs 98.05. This positive movement contributed to a market capitalization of Rs 186.18 crore.

CL Educate Ltd demonstrated a robust performance as well, starting at Rs 91.55 and hitting a high of Rs 108.7, while maintaining a low of Rs 90.65. The closing price stood at Rs 101.7, representing a significant increase of 12.19 per cent from the previous close of Rs 90.65. The market capitalization for CL Educate Ltd reached Rs 553.43 crore.

Hindcon Chemicals Ltd exhibited a favorable performance, opening at Rs 47.75, with a high of Rs 53.3 and a low of Rs 47. The closing price settled at Rs 48.55, reflecting a positive change of 7.41 per cent from the previous close of Rs 45.2. The market capitalization for Hindcon Chemicals Ltd amounted to Rs 248.53 crore. Overall, these companies demonstrated noteworthy stock performance during the specified period.

Price volume breakout is a potential trading opportunity that occurs in trending markets, up or down. In sideways markets, these opportunities are minimized. A breakout happens when the stock price moves above the crucial resistance level or below the sacrosanct support level with increasing volume. The most important aspect is to focus on increasing volume when the important support and resistance levels are broken.
