Ramco Systems tie-up with Airbus Helicopters
Ramco's will develop an MIS data pack connector to provide an easy exchange of aircraft data between various stakeholders of the aviation industry and save time and reduce errors.
Leading aviation enterprise software provider, Ramco Systems has partnered with Airbus Helicopters to develop a product that automates Airbus’ fleet management data, with Airbus systems. This product is a Management Information System (MIS) data pack connector will be bundled with Ramco’s Aviation Software for fleet maintenance and engineering (M&E).
The software will expedite the aircraft induction process by approximately 90 per cent. Ramco's clients who plan to buy or lease Airbus Helicopters can import aircraft’s configuration data and maintenance programs to their ERP system in days instead of months, as was the case earlier.
Ramco Systems, one among the four global vendors (MRX Systems, Rusada and Traxxall) shortlisted by Airbus for developing this initiative.
Meanwhile, in-line with the benchmark index, the stock of Ramco Systems closed at Rs. 317.00 per share, down by 0.28 per cent, when the BSE Sensex was at 34,779.58, down by 382.90 points or 1.09 per cent on Wednesday.
