List of small-cap stocks still trading below their 2018 peak! Will they manage to catch up?

Be it Indian athletes’ achievements in the Olympics or the performance of Nifty Smallcap 100 index in the markets, we are totally in awe of their accomplishments.   

Nifty Smallcap 100 index is up by nearly 47 per cent on a YTD basis while in the last one year, it has soared 97.89 per cent. The index has surpassed its previous all-time high, which was registered in the year 2018.   

With this jubilant performance from Smallcap 100 index, many of the stocks from this index has witnessed multifold gains and surpassed their previous highs, which were registered during the peak of Smallcap 100 index. However, within this pocket, there are stocks that are still trading below their 2018 highs.   

In this article, we are going to share a list of stocks that are still trading below their 2018 peak.   

You will be surprised to know that as many as 25 stocks are still trading below their 2018 peak! This translates to the fact that nearly one-fourth of the stocks from Nifty Smallcap 100 index are trading below their 2018 peak.
