This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing businesses and industries, tracking macroeconomic trends, and translating insights into high-quality equity research reports and investor-focused content. 

You will work closely with senior analysts, editors, and the research leadership team to contribute to DSIJ’s equity research, sectoral studies, and investment publications. 

Key Responsibilities 

Equity Research & Analysis 

• Conduct company and industry research and prepare investment-oriented research reports. 
• Analyse financial statements, annual reports, investor presentations, earnings transcripts, regulatory filings, and industry data. 
• Prepare company profiles, initiation notes, quarterly result previews & reviews, earnings updates, and thematic reports. 
• Track macroeconomic developments, sector trends, policy changes, and regulatory updates relevant to equity markets. 
• Listen to and summarise management concalls, investor meetings, and industry conferences; assist in conducting management interviews where required. 
• Support the team on special research projects, sector deep-dives, and long-form research publications. 

Research Writing & Content 

• Write clear, well-structured, and data-backed research content for DSIJ’s platforms, including reports, newsletters, and research notes. 
• Write high-quality articles, blogs, reports, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces on economics, financial markets, and industry trends. 
• Collaborate with editors to ensure content meets DSIJ’s editorial, research, and compliance standards. 
• Maintain consistency in assumptions, data sources, and presentation across research outputs. 

Desired Candidate Profile 

Education & Certifications 

• Graduation / Post-Graduation in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Management, or related fields 
• NISM Research Analyst (RA) certification – mandatory 
• CFA Level I / II candidates or charter holders will be an advantage 

Skills & Competencies 

• Strong fundamental equity research and financial analysis skills

DSIJ is looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Senior Equity Research Manager to lead and strengthen our equity research and advisory function. The role requires deep expertise in the Indian equity markets, strong research capabilities, and leadership skills to manage a team of analysts while delivering high-quality stock research and actionable investment recommendations and monitoring content writing assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equity Research & Stock Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of listed Indian companies across sectors, including financial modeling, valuation, and earnings analysis.

-  Perform detailed financial analysis, valuation analysis and scenario analysis.

-  Interpret financial statements, earnings reports, management commentary, corporate actions, industry developments and regulatory developments.

- Lead and mentor a team of equity research analysts.

- Review research outputs for accuracy, quality, and compliance,

Role Overview 

The Manager – Products (Strategy & Growth) will own the strategic direction, performance, and evolution of DSIJ’s subscription and digital Service portfolio. This is a high-ownership role with clear potential to evolve into a broader business leadership position. 

You will work closely with Subscription, Research, Digital Marketing and Technology to ensure that every major decision—launch, offer, pricing, packaging, roadmap—is grounded in data, aligned with brand integrity, and geared toward long-term subscriber value.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Service Strategy & Portfolio Ownership

• • Own the overall roadmap for DSIJ’s subscription products and services.
• • Define positioning, target segments, and differentiation for each offering.
• • Continuously review Service performance and recommend changes (features, duration, pricing, bundles, trials, entry offers).
• • Align Service promises with Research output and regulatory boundaries.

2. Insights, Analytics & Business Intelligence

• • Build and maintain dashboards for key metrics: acquisition, activation, renewal, churn, ARPU, LTV, cohorts.
• • Translate data into clear recommendations for leadership and operating teams.
• Identify patterns in subscriber behaviour and convert them into concrete initiatives (onboarding flows, engagement nudges, upgrades). 

3. Growth, Pricing & Monetization

• • Design and test pricing strategies, offers, and Service packages to drive sustainable revenue and retention.
• • Partner with Digital Marketing and Subscriber Success to improve funnel performance, trial-to-paid conversion, and upsell paths.
• • Evaluate new revenue opportunities (new tiers, add-ons, communities, tools) and build business cases.

4. Experience & Journey Design

• • Work with Technology and Subscriber Success to simplify and strengthen the end-to-end subscriber journey: discovery → sign-up → onboarding → consumption → renewal.
• • Ensure Service and UX decisions reflect DSIJ’s identity: credible, clear, no hype, investor-first.
• • Lead feedback loops: capture subscriber inputs, complaints, usage signals and feed them back into Service and process changes.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategy

• • Act as the strategic bridge between Research, Tech, Marketing, Subscriber Success, and Finance.
• • Drive structured quarterly reviews of Service performance and strategic priorities.
• • Support leadership (MD/COO) with insight-backed plans, forecasts, and scenario thinking.

Candidate Profile 

Education 

• • MBA / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Analytics preferred.
• • Engineering or quantitative background with strong business acumen is an advantage.

Experience 

• • 6–10 years of experience in Service management, subscription strategy, growth, or analytics.
• • Prior exposure to financial products, investment research, fintech, SaaS, or data-driven consumer platforms preferred.
• • Proven ability to translate data insights into commercial and strategic decisions (with visible impact on revenue, retention, or Service success).
