Zee Learn posts strong revenue growth

Zee Learn’s revenue for the fourth quarter of FY2018 came in at Rs 89.8 crore, which represents a growth of 34 per cent YoY.

The company's EBITDA for the quarter surges 81 per cent YoY to Rs 19.9 crore, with corresponding margin expansion of 1000 bps. Its EBITDA margin for the quarter stands at 40 per cent. The margin expansion was led by lower administrative and promotion costs.

However, its net profit for the period remained stable at Rs 174.3 crore, as compared to Rs 173.2 crore in corresponding quarter of last year. This was due to higher effective tax rate in the quarter.

In terms of full year, the revenue for FY18 surged 49 per cent YoY to Rs 268.8 crore. Its EBITDA for the year rose to Rs 102.1 crore, up by 73 per cent YoY. Also, its net profit spiked 47 per cent YoY to Rs 49.3 crore.

The board of directors have recommended dividend of Rs. 0.1 per equity share of Re. 1.
