Wonderla Holidays launches second 'Wonder Kitchen' outlet
One of the largest amusement park chains in India, Wonderla Holidays Limited (WHL) announced on Thursday that the company is all set to launch its second ‘Wonder Kitchen’ outlet in Bangalore at Rajarajeshwari Nagar, popularly known as RR Nagar.
Earlier this year, with the launch of the company’s first ‘Wonder Kitchen’ outlet located at Kengeri (Bengaluru), Wonderla Holidays had happily announced in June 2020 that they are foraying into food takeaway and home delivery division.
Wonder Kitchen is a multi-cuisine cloud-kitchen serving vegetarian and non–vegetarian dishes and has also partnered with Swiggy and Zomato for online orders and home delivery apart from takeaways.
The outlet will operate from 11.30 am to 10 pm and will offer free delivery of orders within a radius of 6 km. Typically, April to June (summer vacations) and October to December (festive season) quarters are the peak quarters, accounting for a combined 60 per cent of the revenue of amusement parks. WHL generates revenue primarily from the amusement park ticket sales, merchandise sales along with the restaurants inside the parks.
The stock closed at 165.30, down by 3.81 per cent or Rs 6.55 per share. The intraday high is Rs 178 and the intraday low is Rs 164.80. Since the beginning of the year, the stock has given a return of -33.42 per cent thereby underperforming S&P BSE Small-cap index, which gave a return of 0.50 per cent.
