Why are TV 18 Broadcast, Spandana and Coal India the top gainers among BSE 500?

Among the advancers, TV 18 has been in action recently and has rallied around 48 per cent in a month

BSE 500 has opened with a gap up of 0.8 per cent in the morning session. In the mid-day trading, it is maintaining the momentum- at 12.30 PM, BSE 500 was 0.85 per cent up. TV 18 Broadcast, Spandana Sphoorty Financial, Coal India are the top gainers.

TV 18 Broadcast zooms more than 10 per cent

This news media company rallied more than 10 per cent in the first half of today's trading session. It has been in action for the past one month as there have been announcements that Reliance will infuse capital in its Viacom 18 subsidiary.

Spandana Sphoorty Financial gained more than 10 per cent

This largest microfinance company is gaining momentum in the first half of the trading session. This is due to anticipation of Q3 results which will be announced next Monday.

Coal India jumped 5 per cent 

World's largest coal-producing company has got good upward momentum in the first half of today's trading session. It posted impressive Q2 numbers with strong double-digit top-line and bottom-line growth. The anticipation is getting built up for the Q3 results which are going to be posted next Monday.
