Westlife Development arm launches contactless take-out service
Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt Ltd (HRPL), a master franchisee for West & South India operations of McDonald’s restaurants and a subsidiary of Westlife Development, has launched contactless take-out service in select cities, in compliance with local government regulations. This move is aimed at providing a safe, hygienic and convenient food take-out option to customers who step out of their homes to avail essential services.
As a part of this service, the customers can place their take-out orders from their preferred restaurant (i.e. store) location on McDelivery app, pay online and pick up the order from the restaurant take-out counters on their way home or on their way to work. The entire process of placing and collecting the order is completely safe, contactless and ensures adequate social distancing in every step of the entire process.
Westlife Development focusses on putting up and operating quick service restaurants (QSR) in India through its subsidiary HRPL. The company operates a chain of McDonald's restaurants in West and South India, having a master franchisee relationship with McDonald's Corporation USA, through the latter's Indian subsidiary.
Today, the stock of Westlife Development opened at Rs 283.70 and made an intraday high and low of Rs 285 and Rs 278.65, respectively on BSE.
