Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 6

Out of all Nifty sectors, only bank, oil & gas, and metal made a positive move on the chart.

Amid poor global cues, the Indian markets kicked off the week on a somewhat lower note. Out of all Nifty sectors, only bank, oil & gas, and metal made a positive move on the chart. In the Indian equities market, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 3,7701.51 crore while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) made net purchases worth Rs 2,360.51 crore. Asian Markets is trading in the green territory with marginal gains. After the company announced the formation of a new business division, the shares of Ducon Infratechnologies surged 3.59 per cent to Rs 23.10.  

  

BSE Sensex opened in red and is trading with marginal losses of 240 points at a level of 55,528 at 11.10 am. BSE Midcap index too weakened 203 points and trades at 22,571 levels. Likewise, BSE Smallcap dropped 219 points and trades at 26,164 levels. Sensex Top Gainers include NTPC (0.87 per cent), Tata Steel (0.44 per cent), Induslnd Bank (0.34 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (0.31 per cent), and HDFC Bank (0.29 per cent).   

   

Nifty index fell by 80 points and trades at 16,504 levels. Similarly, Bank Nifty also suffered a slight loss of 11 points to trade at 35,264 levels. The top gaining stocks on Nifty are ONGC (2.28 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance (1.47 per cent), JSW Steel (1.43 per cent), Bajaj Auto (1.26 per cent), and Cipla (1.20 per cent).
