Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on July 15

After opening on a pleasant note, BSE Sensex declined but is still trading in the green, up by 31 points at a level of 53,447 at 11.23 am.

The Indian markets opened on a positive note but dropped from the day’s high in the mid-morning session and thereafter, traded with mild gains. The domestic equities tracked mixed global cues as regulation concerns are likely to increase over the next US Fed meeting, which will be held on July 27.

 

The shares of Syngene International advanced more than 4 per cent to Rs 614 per share after the company announced the signing of a 10-year agreement with Zoetis, to manufacture the drug substance for Librela (Bedinvetmab). Also, the shares of Kingfa Science & Technology soared 7 per cent during today’s session as high-volume buying was witnessed; it is currently trading at Rs 940 per share.  

  

After opening on a pleasant note, BSE Sensex declined but is still trading in the green, up by 31 points at a level of 53,447 at 11.23 am. BSE Midcap index also jumped 68 points and trades at 22,731 levels. Similarly, BSE Smallcap index is trading marginally higher by 14 points at 25,659 levels. Sensex Top Gainers include Bharti Airtel (1.92 per cent), Titan (1.81 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra (1.57 per cent), Hindustan Unilever (1.26 per cent), and Larsen & Toubro (1.22 per cent).   

   

Likewise, Nifty index increased by 18 points and trades at 15,957 levels. Bank Nifty, on the other hand, declined 111 points, only to trade at 34,539 levels. The top gaining indices on Nifty are auto and consumer durables, gaining nearly a per cent each. On the contrary, PSU banks, IT, banking, and metal are trading in the red.  

  

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought shares worth Rs 309.06 crore on July 14 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) sold shares worth Rs 556.40 crore.
