On BSE today, about 2,006 shares have advanced, 1,291 declined, and 151 are unchanged on BSE

At 12:00 noon on Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 9 points or 0.01 per cent at a level of 65,470.35, and the Nifty-50 up around 6 points or 0.03 per cent at a level of 19,395.

The top Sensex gainers were ITC Ltd, IndusInd Bank and ICICI Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were HDFC Bank, Bajaj FinServ and Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.
In terms of sectors, the BSE FMCG Index and Oil & Gas Index witnessed a surge of 1.54 per cent and 0.81 per cent respectively, while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Financial Services Index experienced a decline of 0.65 per cent and 0.33 per cent respectively.

On July 04, foreign institutional investors (FII) brought shares worth Rs 2,134.33 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DII) sold shares worth Rs 785.48 crore; according to preliminary data from the NSE.
