The price of Dhunseri Tea & Industries stock surged 14.97 per cent after the company signed an agreement with Apeejay Tea to purchase two tea estates in the Tinsukia District in the State of Assam for a total of Rs 109 crore.
The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, had a loss of 289 points at 11:05 IST and is currently trading at a level of 62,544. S&P BSE Mid-Cap also experienced a little decline in the overall market, dropping 110 points to a level of 26,238. The Small-Cap index declined by 58 points and is currently trading at 29,927 levels.
The Nifty 50 index is now down 87 points and in the red, trading at 18,613 levels. The Bank Nifty decreased somewhat by 152 points as well, closing at a price of 43,178.
