Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on April 12

The Indian benchmark indexes are now trading at low levels. Bank stocks are down for the second day in a row. In mid-morning trade, the domestic equity barometers managed to reduce some losses and came off the day's low. Shiva Texyarn increased by 10.11 per cent to Rs 250. The Indian Government's Ministry of Defence has issued an order to the firm. Gufic BioSciences increased 11.86 per cent to Rs 277.25 per share. Meanwhile, Isavuconazonium Sulfate API injection licence has been granted by the Central Licensing Approving Authority.  

 

During today’s early trade, BSE Sensex dropped by 421 points and is trading at the 58,543.41 level. BSE Midcap also tumbled 325 points at 25,081.34 levels. BSE Smallcap index too fell by 382 points and trades at the level of 29,497.61. The gaining stocks on BSE Sensex are TCS (0.90 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (0.80 per cent), Maruti Suzuki (0.65 per cent), HCL Technologies (0.55 per cent), and HDFC (0.01 per cent).    

 

Similarly, Nifty 50 index has declined 146 points to 17,528.25 points. Bank Nifty has also dipped by 117 points and is currently trading at 37,496.20. The major contributors to Nifty 50 are TCS (0.93 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (0.69 per cent), HCL Technologies (0.62 per cent), Shree Cement (0.35 per cent), and Maruti Suzuki (0.48 per cent).
