Watch out for these low-priced stocks which made fresh 52-week high on Thursday!

The top five gainers of Nifty 50 were Power Grid Corporation, Coal India, Tata Consumer Products, Bharti Airtel, and Hero Motocorp. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index included Bajaj Auto, Infosys, HDFC Ltd, Bajaj Finserv, and HCL Technologies.

At noon on Thursday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen trading at 59,522.72 and 17,786.05 levels, respectively. Sensex was down by 576.10 points or 0.96 per cent, while Nifty was down by 124.70 points or 0.85 per cent from the last trading session.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 30,586.26, up by 0.11 per cent. The top five gainers are Just Dial, IFB Agro Industries, Himadri Speciality Chemical, La Opala RG, and Control Print. Each of these stocks gained more than 10 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include PTC India Financial Services, Sterlite Technologies, Mastek, Hikal, and PTC India.

On the sectoral front, almost all the sectoral indices were trading in the red, except for BSE Telecom and BSE Power.
