Watch out for these low-priced stocks which made a fresh 52-week high on Friday

All the sectoral indices on the BSE are trading in the green, with BSE IT, BSE Realty, BSE Metal, leading the upside by almost 3 per cent.

At 12.30 pm on Friday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 seen recovering their previous levels. The Sensex was at 58,033.62, up by 756.68 points or 1.32 per cent, while Nifty was at 17,358.35 up by 248.20 points or 1 per cent from the last trading session.   

The top gainers of Nifty 50 were NTPC, IndusInd Bank, United Phosphorous Ltd, ONGC, and Mahindra and Mahindra. Meanwhile, the only stocks pulling down the index include Maruti Suzuki and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 20,337.77, up by 2.46 per cent. The top five gainers are Orient Bell, JSW Holdings, GIC Housing Finance, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries, and Route Mobile. Each of these stocks gained more than 12 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include Kriti Industries, HG Infra Engineering, Mahindra Logistics, Vaibhav Global, and Thangamayil Jewellery.

On the sectoral front, all the sectoral indices on the BSE are trading in the green, with BSE IT, BSE Realty, BSE Metal, leading the upside by almost 3 per cent.

India has reported 2,51,209 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, with 3,47,443 recoveries and 627 deaths according to the data published by the Union Health Ministry.
