Nifty 50 reached a closing level above 18,050. Demand was high for metal, durable goods, and financial services equities. Conversely, shares in the oil and gas, real estate, and IT sectors fell.

Energy Development – The shares of this company hit an upper price band of Rs 21.75 per share, recording gains of 9.85 per cent. The stock has risen 28.06 per cent over the last month. The company is primarily engaged in the generation and sale of bulk power to various electricity boards; construction development, implementation, operation & maintenance of projects and consultancies along with trading of power equipment, metals, etc.
NRB Industrial Bearings – A solid price volume breakout was seen in the stock. The scrip got locked at a 10 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 26.80 per share on BSE. Over the last five trading sessions, the stock soared 19.11 per cent. The company, which is a leading manufacturer of ball and roller bearings for the industrial market, is engaged in the business of manufacturing & selling all types of industrial bearings.
