Watch out for these 3 mid-cap stocks that doubled investors' wealth in 2021, so far!

Outperformance of mid-cap stocks when compared with domestic benchmark indices has surely created a bullish sentiment among investors for including them in their portfolios.

In 2021, so far, BSE Midcap index has outperformed the domestic benchmark indices by gaining around 25.9 per cent. Meanwhile, Sensex and Nifty have gained 9.82 per cent & 12.31 per cent, respectively.  

This outperformance has surely created a bullish sentiment among investors for including mid-cap stocks in their portfolios. The mid-cap stocks have not only thrilled investors with the gains recorded in 2021, so far, but three out of those stocks have doubled the investors' wealth. JSW Energy, Adani Enterprises and Adani Transmission have zoomed 259.94 per cent, 185.99 per cent, and 115.82 per cent, respectively. 

JSW Steel has recently published its quarterly results for Q1FY22. The company posted the highest-ever quarterly net profit of Rs 5,900 crore for the quarter ended on June 30, 2021, for FY22, mainly on the back of higher income. The quarterly revenue from operations was also the highest-ever in Q1FY22, reaching Rs 28,902 crore from Rs 11,782 crore in Q1FY21. The company also plans to raise Rs 3,700 crore via green bonds, progressively replacing thermal energy with renewable power to reduce its carbon footprint. 

Meanwhile, Adani Enterprises has recently formed a joint venture (JV) with Hungary’s Organica Technologies Private Company Limited. This JV aims to build a sewage treatment plant and its associated infrastructure on a hybrid annuity model at Bhagalpur in Bihar. On the other hand, Adani Transmission, along with getting approval for raising Rs 2,500 crore by the issuance of equity shares, securities, debentures, etc. has announced sturdy operational updates for Q1FY22.
