Vodafone Idea and Adani Enterprises put together contribute the most to the BSE MidCap Index gains

AB Capital is up by nearly 6 per cent after the markets discounted the fact that the AMC arm of AB Capital has got a SEBI nod for its IPO. 

The BSE MidCap Index is seen outperforming the frontline indices on Friday. Vodafone Idea is up by more than 21  per cent on friday asn is the top BSE MidCap Index gainer on Friday , even as huge long positions are being built up in the shares of Vodafone Idea. 

Adani Enterprises is the other top mid-cap index gainer on Friday, up by more than 7 per cent. 

Put together Adani Enterprises and Vodafone Idea are seen contributing almost 80 per cent to the BSE MidCap Index gains. AB Capital is up by nearly 6 per cent after the markets discounted the fact that the AMC arm of AB Capital has got a SEBI nod for its IPO. 

Adani power is up by nearly 5 per cent while KIOCL has gained by more than 3 per cent. Adani Transmission is up by more than 3 per cent. 

OIL, Amaraja Battery , Alkem Lab and MFSL are seen trading with gaine of more than 2 per cent each. MPhasis is seen trading with gains of more than 1 per cent owing to short covering in the counter. Future Retail, RBL Bank, PI Industries and Supreme Industries are seen trading with losses on Friday trading session.

Sensex is trading weak , down by more than 150 points while Nifty has slipped by more than 20 points on Friday.
