Visiting Bhutan? Now, check-in at Lemon Tree Hotel, Thimphu!
India’s third-largest hotel chain, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, through its management subsidiary-Carnation Hotels Pvt Ltd, announced on February 27, 2020, that they have inaugurated their first Lemon Tree Hotel in Bhutan, which becomes the second international hotel after Dubai.
The hotel is situated on Changlam Street (Thimphu) and is designed with traditional Bhutanese architecture, having modern amenities. It has more than 25 rooms with a lounge, dining area, bar, fitness centre and more.
Rattan Keswani, Deputy Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels & Director of Carnation Hotels said that he is excited about the hotel chain’s debut in the capital of Bhutan. He feels that the market has an immense business potential there since the hotel has a locational advantage as it is in close proximity to the airport and bus terminal. He further adds the hotel is near to many popular tourist destinations as well.
At 10.29 am on Friday, the stock of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd is trading at Rs 51.00, down by 3.59 per cent against its previous close of Rs 52.90 on BSE.
