Vakrangee back in green on launch of 3,000 NextGen Kendras

Vakrangee Limited is all set to launch more than 3,000 Nextgen Kendras pan-India by January 14, 2019. The shares of the company gained 2 per cent at the opening bell on Thursday. 

Earlier the company had a successful run in launching the Nextgen Kendras in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and National Capital Region (NCR) and now has taken up the plan to spread the Nextgen outlets across 20 states, over 350 districts and more than 2,000 postal codes of the country. Out of these, 70 per cent outlets are from tier 5 and tier 6. 

Nextgen outlets are based on an exclusive digital convenience store model which provides access to multi-line services spread across Banking, ATM, Insurance, Financial services, e-Commerce, e-Governance and Logistics. 

Vakrangee is a technology company. The company's segments include e-governance projects and Vakrangee Kendras. The e-governance projects business offers collection services, including payment of electricity, telephone and mobiles; recruitment application processing, including processing of applications for recruitment of workforce for government-related services etc. 

The stocks of Vakrangee ended Wednesday’s trading day shedding 3 per cent and ending at Rs. 35 per share. The stocks on Thursday opened at Rs. 35.90 per share. At 9:54 hours, the stock was trading at 35.85, up by 1.56 per cent and reached an intraday high of Rs. 36.35 and an intraday low of Rs 35.50. The 52-week high was 515.40 and 52 week low was 22.35. Meanwhile, BSE Sensex was at 35,909.68 level, up by 0.73 per cent.
