Vaishali Pharma wins first bulk order of PPE kits; stock hits upper circuit
Vaishali Pharma Ltd has hit the upper circuit after bagging its first bulk order worth Rs 16 crore for the delivery of PPE kits and other COVID-19 related medical kits.
The personal protective equipment (PPE) refers to the protective clothing, helmets, gloves, face shields, goggles, facemasks and respirators as well as other equipment designed to protect the wearer from injury or the spread of infection or illness. Meanwhile, the company is expecting much bigger orders in the near future for PPE kits and other related items.
The range of different COVID-19 medical products such as hand sanitiser, 3 ply mask, N95 masks, KN95 masks, IR thermometer, oximeter, face shield, sanitiser stand, sanitiser dispenser, goggles, gloves etc. It also includes the multi-vitamin sprays along with the immunity booster Vipravita C supplements in different variants viz. vitamin C chewable tablets, vitamin C effervescent tablets & vitamin C with zinc combo to fight against the COVID -19 pandemic.
Vaishali Pharma Ltd is engaged in the supply of pharmaceutical products to corporates, hospitals and retails stores, etc. It consists of over 150+ formulation brands, marketed in multiple countries and has built a robust pipeline of around 250 dossiers.
On Tuesday, the stock of Vaishali Pharma hit the upper circuit of 20 per cent at Rs 58.35 from its previous close of Rs 48.65 on NSE. This is also its 52-week high price. In just 1.5 months, the stock has jumped by approximately 105 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 28.35.
