VA Tech Wabag zooms 8 per cent on order win
VA Tech Wabag has bagged order worth Rs. 1,187 crore from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCO). The order falls under the prestigious National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) Scheme.
The project will develop Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) of 150 MLD capacity along with sewerage network of over 450 km in the Digha and Kankarbagh zones of Patna.
The scope of the project comprises Design, Build and Operate (DBO) order worth Rs. 940 crore and Hybrid Annuity worth around Rs. 247 crore.
VA Tech Wabag is an India-based company engaged in the business of water treatment field. The company's principal activities include design, supply, installation, construction and operational management of drinking water, wastewater treatment, industrial water treatment and desalination plants.
On Tuesday, the shares of the company opened at Rs. 292 per share against Monday’s close of Rs. 291.85. At 12:35 hours, it was trading at Rs. 315.50, 8.10 per cent higher than its previous close. The intraday high was Rs. 317 and intraday low was Rs. 292. Its 52-week high was Rs. 413.45 and 52-week low was Rs. 243.45 per share on the BSE.
