Upper circuit alert: Reliance Infrastructure, BGR Energy Systems and Jindal Drilling hit the roof!
Shares of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, BGR Energy Systems Ltd and Jindal Drilling and Industries Ltd have rallied in today’s trading session.
While markets opened flat, as of noon, BSE Sensex was 0.41 per cent up and S&P BSE SmallCap was 0.7 per cent up.
Reliance Infrastructure Ltd gained more than 9 per cent
Reliance Infrastructure Ltd is an Indian private sector enterprise involved in power generation, infrastructure, construction and defence. The company hit the upper circuit of 9.97 per cent as the Delhi High Court directed Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) to pay Rs 6,330 crore to a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd in line with the arbitration award passed in 2017. The share of the company was seen trading at Rs 122.4, up by 9.97 per cent.
BGR Energy Systems Ltd zooms more than 9 per cent
BGR Energy Systems Ltd is a manufacturer of capital equipment for power plants, petrochemical, refineries and process industries. The share of the company halted trading at 9.95 per cent in the first half of today as the Madras High Court reinstated the order worth Rs 4,442.75 crore awarded to the company by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation. The company has given 27.23 per cent returns in the last five days.
Jindal Drilling & Industries Ltd has jumped more than 9 per cent
Jindal Drilling & Industries Ltd provider drilling division and related services saw huge inflow in order book after the appointment of Pawan Kumar Rustagi as company secretary and compliance officer. The trading of the company halted at Rs 218.2 with a 9.98 per cent upside.
