UFO Moviez India posts weak bottomline in Q3FY18
UFO Moviez India standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 139.05 crore, registering a decline of 7.4 per cent YoY .
The company's advertisement revenue grew by 15.8 per cent to Rs. 49.4 crore.
Its EBITDA for the quarter fell by 19.8 per cent YoY to Rs 35.5 crore, with a corresponding margin contraction of 394 bps. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 25.5 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 11.36 crore, a decline of 17.4 per cent YoY.
UFO Moviez India is India’s largest digital cinema distribution network and in-cinema advertising platform in terms of number of screens. UFO operates India’s largest satellite-based, digital cinema distribution network using its UFO-M4 platform, as well as India’s largest DCinema network. As on December 31, 2017, UFO’s global network, along with subsidiaries and associates, spanned 6,379 screens worldwide, including 5,314 screens across India and 1,065 screens across the Middle East, Israel, Mexico and the USA.
On Monday the stock of UFO Moviez opened with a gap-up at Rs 450, as against Rs 439.45 in the previous trading session. Further, on Monday the stock closed at Rs 447.70, up by 1.9 per cent.
