Uflex net sales grows 22 per cent YoY
Uflex posted robust results as the net sales surged 22.49 per cent in Q2FY19 and stood at Rs. 1,072.82 crore as against Rs. 875.83 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On a consolidated basis, the company’s PBIDT increased by 13.02 per cent to Rs. 259.61 crore in Q2FY19 as against Rs. 229.7 crore in Q2FY18. The profit after tax (PAT) has marginally increased by approximately 2 cent and stood at Rs. 95.19 crore in Q2FY19 as against Rs. 93.68 crore in Q2FY18.
UFLEX is engaged in the manufacture and sale of flexible packaging products. The company also offers a flexible packaging solution to its customers across the globe. The company offers printed, laminated, metalized, co-extruded, coated, embossed, plain plastic films and hologrammed sticker sheets. It offers finished packaging to a range of products, such as snack foods, candy and confectionery, sugar, rice, etc.
On Monday, the shares of the company opened higher at Rs. 309.80 per share against Friday’s close of Rs 301.70 on the BSE. At 12:37 hours, the share was trading at Rs. 299.95, down by 0.58 per cent. The intraday high was Rs. 310.35 and intraday low was Rs. 299 per share on the BSE. Its 52-week high was Rs. 506.75 and 52-week low was Rs. 254.40 per share. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was at 34,902.21 level, down by 0.31 per cent.
