Uflex develops specialized radiation insulation film for ISRO
Uflex's film manufacturing arm, Flex Films has successfully developed a Satellite Thermal Radiation Insulation Film as specified by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
The company's Noida-based film manufacturing division developed the specialized film for ISRO in a short period of 6 months. The Indian space agency had approached Uflex in September 2017 with the requirement of a specialized film to be used for passive thermal control of its spacecraft components.
Uflex is a multinational flexible packaging materials and solution company with facilities at multiple locations in India. The company has an installed capacity of around 100,000 TPA in the country. It also has packaging film manufacturing facilities in UAE, Mexico, Egypt, Poland and the US.
On Wednesday, the share hit an intraday high of Rs. 282 per share and intraday low of Rs. 275.85. Its 52-week high is Rs. 506.75 and 52-week low is Rs. 245.40 per share on the BSE.
At 11:54 hours, Uflex Limited was trading at Rs. 275.85, down by 2.46 per cent. BSE Sensex was trading at 36,270.21 level, up by 0.07 per cent and Nifty50 at 10.953.80 level, up by 0.06 per cent.
