UberEats to drive Coffee Day sales
Coffee Day has partnered with UBER in order to obtain the services of UberEats mobile app to push the retail sales of its products.
Coffee Day Global Limited (CDGL), the material subsidiary of Coffee Day Enterprises Limited, has entered into an agreement with UBER Portier.B.V for obtaining technology services through the UberEats mobile app in order to extend distribution of CDGL's food products, said the company's filing. The tenure of the partnership is 5 years.
For Q4FY18, the consolidated gross revenue of Coffee day was at Rs. 12,970 million, an increase of 26 per cent YoY; whereas for FY2017-18, it was at Rs. 43,305 million, a growth of 22 per cent YoY. The company reported a PAT of Rs. 252 million for Q4FY18, an increase of 95 per cent YoY, while for FY2017-18, the PAT was at Rs. 1,063 million, up 127 per cent YoY.
At 9:18 hours, the stock of Coffee Day was quoting Rs. 270.70 per share, up by 2.52 per cent, when the BSE Sensitive Index breached its all-time high at 36,471.03, up by 205.10 points or 0.57 per cent on Thursday.
