Trident shines bright, thanks to patent grant
Trident Limited has been granted the patent for ‘Apparatus and Method for treating an industrial Effluent containing Sodium Sulphate’ by Indian Patent Office, the Government of India.
The invention is related to the treatment of industrial effluents, containing a number of soluble and insoluble contaminants, including sodium sulphate, which generally gets discharged from textile dyeing process. In this invention, an apparatus and the method are the main tools for the treatment of industrial effluents.
The grant of this patent provides a recognition to Trident in making its surroundings eco-friendly by conserving water and reusing the same for its textile dyeing process.
Trident ltd. is the flagship company of Trident Group. It is vertically integrated textile (Yarn and Bath and Bed Linen) and Paper (Wheat Straw-based) manufacturer and is one of the largest players in the home textile space in India.
In H1FY20, the company’s total income grew by 3.9 per cent to Rs. 2,640.9. The EBITDA was up by 18.4 per cent and the EBITDA margin stood at 21.2 per cent as against 18.6 per cent in H1FY19.
On Wednesday, the stock of Trident opened at Rs. 62.40. During the morning trading session, it surged by 5.8 per cent to Rs. 65.40.
