Top three stocks that witnessed heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green at a gain of 603.72 points or 1.12 per cent. At 9.15 am, the index stood at the level of 54,202.37, holding on to gains of 451.4 points or 0.84 per cent.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in green. In the pre-opening session, metals shined by around 1 per cent, power strengthened 0.5 per cent whereas auto climbed 0.75 per cent.
Meanwhile, Minda Industries, Titan Company, and HLE Glascoat emerged as top gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Minda Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 7.46 per cent to trade at Rs 520.30 apiece. The company had announced two corporate actions, for which, the ex-date is today. These corporate actions are bonus issues of shares (in the ratio of 1:1) along with a dividend of Rs 1 (which is, 50 per cent of the face value of Rs 2 per share).
Titan Company Limited, a part of S&P BSE Sensex, surged 5.79 per cent to trade at Rs 2,130 apiece. This rally comes on the back of results for the quarter ended June 2022, which were announced on Wednesday.
HLE Glascoat Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 4.89 per cent to trade at Rs 3,437 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements lately. Hence, the rally in the share price could purely be driven by the market forces.
