Top three stocks that witnessed heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in the red at a loss of 548 points or 1.03 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index slipped 0.92 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by nearly 0.7 per cent, power weakened by almost 0.2 per cent whereas auto tumbled 0.45 per cent.
Meanwhile, Mangalam Cement Ltd, CCL Products (India) Ltd, and Kama Holdings Limited emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by market forces.
Mangalam Cement Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 7.02 per cent to trade at Rs 288.95 apiece.
CCL Products (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 6.46 per cent to trade at Rs 408 apiece.
At the same time, the shares of Kama Holdings Limited climbed 5.03 per cent to trade at Rs 10,490 apiece.
