Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 500.86 points or 0.65 per cent. By 9.20 am, the index stood at 77,660.90, signifying a gain of 481.50 points or 0.62 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.65 per cent, power zoomed by 0.53 and auto soared by 0.83 per cent.
Meanwhile, NLC India Ltd, Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, and Gateway Distriparks Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
NLC India Ltd rallied 8.92 per cent to trade at Rs 230.10 apiece. NLCIL Group has released its Quarterly Results for the quarter and nine months ending on December 31, 2024.
Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.58 per cent to trade at Rs 1,098.95 apiece. The recent rally in the share price appears to be driven solely by market forces, as the company has not made any major announcements recently.
Gateway Distriparks Ltd an S&P BSE company, climbed 7.38 per cent to trade at Rs 79.88 apiece. The company announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024. Financials include Total Revenue of INR 10.03 crores, EBITDA of Rs 1.24 crores, PBT of Rs (-0.31 crores) and PAT of Rs (-0.33) crores due to consolidation of accounts after Snowman Logistics went from being an Associate Company to a Subsidiary from December 24 2024. PBT and PAT include exceptional income of Rs. 390.77 Crs. due to fair valuation of equity on consolidation of Snowman Logistics Limited, which became subsidiary from December 24, 2024.
