Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 132.73 points or 0.17 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 76,923.14, signifying a gain of 163.33 points or 0.21 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals plunged by 0.32 per cent, power zoomed by 0.49 and auto soared by 0.48 per cent.

Meanwhile, Wockhardt Ltd, Navin Fluorine International Ltd, and Garware Technical Fibres Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Wockhardt Ltd rallied 9.95 per cent to trade at Rs 1,415 apiece. Wockhardt''s Zaynich (Zidebactam/Cefepime, WCK 5222) achieves highest-ever efficacy meeting superiority in a global, pivotal, registration-enabling Phase III study in complicated urinary infection (cUTI) achieving 96.8 per cent clinical cure rate.
Navin Fluorine International Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.28 per cent to trade at Rs 4,190 apiece. The company has posted its Quarterly Results fro period ended December 31, 2024.
Garware Technical Fibres Ltd an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.07 per cent to trade at Rs 842.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
