These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 233.82 points or 0.29 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 81,506.45 signifying a gain of 242.12 points or 0.3 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dropped by 0.17 per cent, power plunged by 0.27 and auto slipped by 0.31 per cent.
Meanwhile, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd, Ramky Infrastructure Ltd and Sapphire Foods India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 3.59 per cent to trade at Rs 498.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
