On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.43 per cent, power zoomed by 0.04 and auto soared by 0.33 per cent.
Meanwhile, Godrej Industries Ltd, Arvind Fashions Ltd and Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Godrej Industries Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 4.48 per cent to trade at Rs 1122.95 apiece. Godrej Industries Limited (GIL) has acquired a 26 per cent equity stake in Clean Max Kaze Private Limited, a subsidiary of Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions, for setting up a Rs 10 crore renewable energy project. The initiative, approved under the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy 2023, will establish hybrid wind and solar power at GIL's Valia Factory in Gujarat
Arvind Fashions Ltd rallied 2.96 per cent to trade at Rs 538 apiece. The company has received the letter of acceptance from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) for the project
Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.93 per cent to trade at Rs 1,120 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
