Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 186.48 points or 0.23 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 80,208.58 signifying a gain of 126.60 points or 0.16 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.22 per cent, power zoomed by 0.16 and auto soared by 0.06 per cent.
Meanwhile, NRB Bearings Ltd, VRL Logistics Ltd and Satin Creditcare Network Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
NRB Bearings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 9.23 per cent to trade at 280 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
VRL Logistics Ltd rallied 5.20 per cent to trade at Rs 568.85 apiece. The promoter of transportation company VRL Logistics Ltd on Tuesday clarified that he will use his own money—not his company’s—to start a regional airline after VRL shares crashed.
In a note to stock exchanges, promoter Vijay Sankeshwar said that his preliminary estimates suggest a total investment of around Rs 1,400 crore over the next three-four years in the airline business, of which his equity will be Rs 400 crore and the remaining Rs 1,000 crore will be debt.
Samhi Hotels Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.18 per cent to trade at Rs 198.9 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
