These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 256.71 points or 0.31 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 81,680.01 signifying a loss of 178.65 points or 0.22 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.48 per cent, power zoomed by 0.50 and auto slipped by 0.40 per cent.

Meanwhile, Globus Spirits Ltd, Concord Biotech Ltd and Crisil Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Globus Spirits Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.93 per cent to trade at 1,170.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Concord Biotech Ltd rallied 4.41 per cent to trade at Rs 2,074.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Crisil Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.24 per cent to trade at Rs 4,993 apiece. The Board of Directors of Peter Lee Associates Pty Ltd (“PLA”) and CRISIL Irevna Australia Pty Ltd (“CRISIL Australia”), the two wholly owned subsidiaries of the Company based in Australia, have approved sale of business of PLA to CRISIL Australia through a Business Transfer Agreement. This will be followed by a deregistration of PLA. This will mean the operation of only one subsidiary in Australia
