Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 319.77 points or 0.39 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 84,843.12 signifying a loss of 70.92 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dropped by 0.4 per cent, power zoomed by 0.88 and auto soared by 0.68 per cent.
Meanwhile, Metro Brands Ltd, Torrent Power Ltd and Fine Organic Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Metro Brands Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.70 per cent to trade at 1299.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Torrent Power Ltd rallied 5.82 per cent to trade at Rs 1922.95 apiece. The company has received letter of award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for long-term supply of 2,000 Megawatt (MW) Energy Storage Capacity from InSTS Connected Pumped Hydro Storage Plant.
Fine Organic Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.71 per cent to trade at Rs 5300.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
