Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 363.09 points or 0.42 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 85,334.70 signifying a loss of 237.15 points or 0.28 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals Jumped by 0.58 per cent, power plunged by 0.04 and auto slipped by 0.43 per cent.
Meanwhile, Zydus Wellness Ltd, Welspun Enterprises Ltd and GTL Infrastructure Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Zydus Wellness Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 9.13 per cent to trade at 2193.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Welspun Enterprises Ltd rallied 5.76 per cent to trade at Rs 588.70 apiece. The company has been declared the L1 bidder by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for a project worth Rs 1,989.9 crore. The project involves the design and construction of an 8.48 km tertiary treated water conveyance tunnel from the Dharavi WWTF to the Ghatkopar WWTF, to be executed within a period of 93 months.
GTL Infrastructure Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.74 per cent to trade at Rs 2.65 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
