Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 122.18 points or 0.15 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 80,104.99 signifying a gain of 39.83 points or 0.05 per cent over its previous closing.+39.83 +0.05 %
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals drooped by 0.11 per cent, power plunged by 0.25 and auto soared by 0.08 per cent.

Meanwhile, DCB Bank Limited, Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd and Cyient Limited emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
DCB Bank Limited, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.62 per cent to trade at 118.65 apiece. The Board of Directors of DCB Bank Ltd at its meeting in Mumbai on October 24, 2024, approved the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q2 FY 2025) along with limited review report by statutory auditors ‘Varma & Varma, Chartered Accountants’ and ‘B S R & Co. LLP, Chartered Accountants’.
The Bank’s Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q2 FY 2025 was at Rs 155 crore. In comparison Profit After Tax for Q2 FY 2024 was at Rs 127 crore., growth of 23 per cent. Advances growth year-on-year was at 19 per cent and Deposit growth year-on-year was at 20 per cent. The Gross NPA as on September 30, 2024 was at 3.29 per cent. Net NPA was at 1.17 per cent as on September 30, 2024.
Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd rallied 6.21 per cent to trade at Rs 15999.95 apiece. The Board at its Meeting held on Thursday, 24th October, 2024, inter-alia considered and approved, the un-Audited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated) of the Company for the Quarter and Half yearended 30th September, 2024.
Cyient Limited, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.60 per cent to trade at Rs 1875.25 apiece. Cyient, a global Intelligent Engineering services company, announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 30, 2024.
Revenue at Rs 1450 crores, with QoQ growth of 2.5 per cent and YoY degrowth of 1.8 per cent. PAT at Rs 177 crores, with YoY growth of 2.3 per cent.
