Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 116.95 points or 0.17 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 81,717.37 signifying a gain of 19.26 points or 0.02 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.17 per cent, power zoomed by 0.30 and auto soared by 0.13 per cent.
Meanwhile, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Aarti Drugs Ltd and Zydus Wellness Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.14 per cent to trade at 1,135 apiece. The company receives USFDA Final Approval for Betamethasone Valerate Foam, 0.12 per cent.
Aarti Drugs Ltd rallied 4.01 per cent to trade at Rs 630.65 apiece. The Board of Directors has determined the Record date for the proposed Buyback as September 5, 2024
Zydus Wellness Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.63 per cent to trade at Rs 2,337.20 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
