These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 241.45 points or 0.30 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 80,651.73 signifying a gain of 214.89 points or 0.27 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.46 per cent, power zoomed by 0.69 and auto soared by 0.39 per cent.
Meanwhile, Chalet Hotels Ltd, CARE Ratings Ltd and Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Chalet Hotels Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.38 per cent to trade at Rs 835 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
CARE Ratings Ltd rallied 5.17 per cent to trade at Rs 1,024 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.99 per cent to trade at Rs 408.25 apiece. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary has received three Letter of Awards (LOA) worth totaling to Rs 2,925.52 crore (net of taxes) for appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers (AMISPs) including design of Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system with supply, installation and commissioning with FMS of about 3.75 million Smart Prepaid Meters, system meters including DT Meters with corresponding energy accounting on DBFOOT basis
