Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 1104.27 points or 1.40 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 79,599.69 signifying a gain of 713.47 points or 0.90 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 1.35 per cent, power zoomed by 1.65 and auto soared by 1.49 per cent.
Meanwhile, Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd, Cochin Shipyard Ltd and Itd Cementation India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. 79,246.21
Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.73 per cent to trade at Rs 1312.05 apiece. There is a Resignation of Mr. Vimal Ajmera as Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company and the company has decided not to go ahead with raising of funds by way of QIP, Preferential allotment, etc. at present.
Cochin Shipyard Ltd rallied 5.75 per cent to trade at Rs 2444.80 apiece. The company has announced its first Quarterly Results of Q1FY25.
ITD Cementation India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.54 per cent to trade at Rs 564.75 apiece. The company reported robust Operational Performance during Q1 FY25 where highest ever quarterly revenue of Rs 2,381 crore with 30 per cent growth yoy, the highest ever quarterly pat of Rs 100 crore with 91 per cent growth yoy; consolidated order book of Rs 18,536 crore as of june 30, 2024
